Therapy for Learning Differences

I specialize in supporting teenagers who learn differently, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, nonverbal learning disorders, and high-functioning autism (HFA). Many of the teens I work with have 504 plans, and I help them better understand how their brain works, discover the strengths that come with their learning style, and build the skills to advocate for themselves with confidence—in school and in life.

Before opening my private practice, I spent 15 years working in schools. That experience gives me a unique perspective on the challenges families face, and it allows me to work closely with both parents and educators to ensure that your child’s needs—academic, social, and emotional—are being met. In addition to working with teens, I also offer parent guidance calls to provide you with tools and strategies for supporting your child at home and within the school system.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with support teams in many public and private schools across Massachusetts, including schools in Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Milton, Concord, and Scituate. This experience helps me understand how schools approach learning differences, and how to best advocate for your child within that system.
